Flat Ironed and Colored Transitioning hair !!

So I said that I was going to try to go one year without putting any heat in my hair. But I had to do it ,I was getting so frustrated lol and since my annual Christmas party for my job came up I decided to flat iron it and since I was transitioning and the ends of my hair are still relaxed I decided to dye the ends to a blondish color . I must say I love the color and I'm still treating my whole head as if im fully natural that hasn't changed. But I must admit I missed my curls and I washed my hair last nite and did a twist out I can't wait to see how it came out with the color I will of course post pics to show u guys but I hope you like it . I might have not gone a whole year without heat but I think I did a great job going 9 months without heat all together. So stayed tuned !!

My Skin Care Products

My skin is sooo not perfect but I never went thru a breakout stage while I was growing up and maturing, but as I got older and thought my puberty stage was over , I started breaking out . When I started to see my period my face broke out only for that occasion and these pimples would pop out in the most visible places. And it was so embarrassing! I hated having a big old pimple right in the middle of my forehead . So I decided to buy Proactiv from my local mall, I was scared to use it because alot of people were saying that it changed their skin complexion but despite all I heard I needed something to be done about these pimples. To my surprise it worked , and it didn't do anything to my face except clean and clear up my breakouts. My face didn't change complexion at all ( thank goodness) . However Proactiv isn't the only product I use on my face. I also use Neutrogena face bar and the liquid facial scrub. Just to get rid of any oils, dirt, or makeup when I go in the shower. All of these Products compliment my skin extremely well. If you have any doubts about using Proactiv then Neutrogena is a really good face wash and it costs only six dollars in any drugstore. I hope this helped you guys out. Until next time !!

Kiss Foundation Review

So Before I even became obsessed with makeup My mother bought me my first powder foundation from Kiss products and I've never used any other foundation. I must admit it is a little ashy when u apply it but you have to blend it in very well. I'm the color Natural Tan in the summer when I become tan, But I also use the color Honey Glow in the winter . Kiss products are oil free and light weight. I do like the product, however my face is naturally very oily and I do feel that the liquid foundation makes my face oilier even though it is a oil free product but in the winter time its not that serious. I do recommend Kiss Products to beginners who want something inexpensive and easy to use. You can get Kiss Products from any local beauty supply store and it costs about five to six dollars , just in case your interested in trying it out for yourself !

Another Two Strand Twist Style

Well since I'm in love with two strand twists now during my transition, I decided to jazz it up just a tad. It took me 2 hours to put the twists in my hair the nite before and as you can see, I decided to curl the twists in the front. I put the rest of the twists in a high pony tail then formed it into a bun. I used the flexi rods to curl the front twists.

BIOTIN !!!

The other day I went to the vitamin shop cause my body was feeling kinda lifeless, I was tired all the time and lacking energy. So I went to the mall to Vitamin World to purchase some womens everyday vitamins. And I came across Biotin , Its a vitamin I think ,That supports strong and healthy hair, nails, and skin. I figured It would be good for me while my transition . It's only been 2 days since I started taking it , so I don't know if it's working yet but I will definetly keep you guys posted.

My Birthday Makeup and OFOTN

So last week was my Birthday and I was having a dinner , so of course it being my special day of one more year getting older, I wanted to look super nice. I originally wanted to wear a dress but then a massive thunderstorm came out of no where, so I had to change outfits. I wore my skinny legged jeans from Forever21, A blue halter top that I bought in Colombia last August. And I wore my black patent leather pumps I got at easy Pickins. Very simple and cute . Now for my makeup I wanted something simple yet noticeable. I used a gold color from my ELF Palette all over my lid then I cut the crease with a dark brown kinda purple E/S. I then applied a shimmery light gold E/S as a highlight after I applied my favorite black liquid liner on my upper lashline. I lined my waterline with a black pencil and applied that same dark crease color all over my lower lashline. I tammed my brows then applied my kiss liquid foundation all over the face. I then concealed my undereye area blended everything then applied my kiss powder foundation to set the liquid Foundation and concealer. Finally I put a shimmery pink lip gloss and was ready to enjoy the night!!

10 Months Post Relaxer !!

I can honestly say this has been a difficult transition for me . It's been 10 months since my last relaxer, my hair definetly feels much healthier and fuller. However, like expected I'm dealing with a little breakage due to detangling and it is very frustrating dealing with the two textures. But what I've found very stress free and easy to do is to actually put my hair in 2 strand twists. So what I do every week after I wash my hair and apply my products , I detangle and section, then I twist my hair in medium size twists, after I do that, I put all of my hair in a ponytail and then wrap it in a neat bun. This style is super cute and different , It lasts about 5 or 6 days, and there is no tension to the front of my hair or my edges which is great. It's been almost 2 months I've been rockin the two strand twist style. It's a very good protective style , plus you can rock a slammin twist out ,if you wish seeing how you keep the twists in for a few days. So for all you Transitioners out there don't give up there is hope !! The frustration will pass.

My Flat Twist Updo !!

Since this summer is soooo hot and humid , My hair wont hold a braid out or a twist out style. So one day I asked my mother to do something with my hair and she decided to put my hair in this really cute flat twist updo style. I absolutely love this style ! It didn't take long at all and it was painless, and my hair was up off the back of my neck and away from the front of my face. This style lasted for 4 days, and then I just put my hair in a bun until wash day. This is also a good protective and transitioning style as well. I hope you guys like this look and tell me what you think !!

MY Two Strand Twists !!

So I got bored one day and decided that I didn't want to do any braid outs or twist outs so I decided to twist my hair in medium size twists and wear them for the whole week and I loved them !! I've decided to keep my hair like this for the majority of my transition I don't touch my hair for a week and then I wash it and then re-twist it , this is so easy for me and it looks so cute. Tell me what u guys think !!

My Lovely Toe Design

I was bored out of my mind and decided to give my self a pedicure. I think I deserved it seeing how I'm always on my feet for more than 8 hours a day. Anyway, I used a silvery kinda baby blueish color from wet and wild all over my toes. Then I applied a design to only the big toes, using a black and white color. Excuse the ashiness , I was home and I didn't put any lotion on my feet. But other than that I think this design is cute for the summer. Stay tuned for other cute designs and colors!!

Braid Out Using Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie

So I went to Walgreen the other nite, and I came across the Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie and I remember watching some Tutorials on this product , so I decided to purchase it. So I washed my hair and applied the product as well as my usual products then I braided it. I absolutely love it!! It smells so good, it
leaves a residue when u first apply it but
it disappears . I totally recommend this
product to all Naturals and Transitioners.

My Quick Simple UpDo

The Results Of Taking Out My Corn Braids

The braids actually lasted 3 days before I decided to take them out . Taking them out was very difficult because the braids were small and when I got to the root it was hard for me to determine if I got all the braids out because my hair is sooo curly at the root itself. But as you can see in the pics my hair is extremely wild and literally all over my face. I will say tho, that I will be doing braids more often especially for the summer. So I will see you guys next time !!
