MY SIGNATURE PUFF HAIR STYLE

I love to put my hair up out of my face especially when I'm in a rush. Since I cut my hair I can no longer put my hair in a ponytail or a bun, so, I just put it in a puff ,this style is so easy and super quick to do it takes less than 5 minutes . All u need is a little water and gel for that slick look and if ur going for a more messy look u can just gather ur hair in a puff without slicking down ur edges and just throw a head band over your head to hold down the fly aways. MY TRANSITIONING DAYZ

WHEN I FIRST BECAME NEWLY NATURAL !!

This is just a video when I first big chopped my hair and Hopefully u can see the difference in length from then and now . Also I'm trying out a free trial of a video editor, please excuse the logo in the front of the vid.

MY BANGING TWIST OUT ON MY NATURAL HAIR

 I had to show u guys my twist out that I do all the time since I've become natural . When I wash my hair once a week I apply my product and I section my hair into 2, then I start sectioning small portions of the one section that I'm doing first and I start to twist. I normally do 9 twists in those 2 sections which is a total of 18 twists through out my hair. I let my hair dry overnight sometimes even for a whole day if i'm not working however the twist out isn't has defined cause I guess my hair is either still damp and a little shrunken . but the next day after that it normally comes out great . I re-twist every night but in bigger twists,  a total of 12 twists and I repeat this step usually until the next wash day which would be in 7 days, however there are days I get lazy and I decide to put my hair in a puff . I'M A PRODUCT JUNKIE

 I went to my local beauty supply store to get some conditioner and shampoo and I came across some other products that I heard about . I purchased the Nourishing Coconut milk shampoo and conditioner from Organix just cause I heard such good reviews about it and it was on sale buy one and get one free and I couldn't resist . I also picked up Elasta QP Olive Oil & Mango Butter Moisturizer cause my hair is super dry in the winter and I was looking for a good  moisturizer. Last but not least I picked up the Cantu Shea Butter Coconut Curling Cream. This is a new product from the Cantu shea butter line and I was just dying to see how it worked . Now I haven't tried any of these products yet so I will be doing a review one by one and I'll let u know what I think of these products. Until then .......

MY SLEEPY UNDER EYE BAGS

 For as long as I can Remember I always had bags , and as I got older they didn't get any worse but I got more self conscious about them and I wanted them gone I tried creams and ice and tea bags nothing really helped except getting more than 8 hours of sleep which people  said that would make u more sleepy but not for me . As for my face in general u can see I have no discoloration and or any dark circles. I'm not wearing any makeup at all either in these pics but those bags are bugging me to the point that I'm seriously thinking about seeing a doctor as to what I can do . If u guys have any ideas to get them down or get rid of them for good other than surgery I'm more than happy to hear !!

QUICK OUTFIT OF THE DAY

This is just a quick outfit of the day , but please excuse the mess in my room its very small and cluttered. However I decided to wear my pink ambercrombie shirt and my skinny jeans with my furry black knee high flat boots . My hair was in a simple twist out and I wore no makeup at all. Once again This is just a simple OOTD nothing special stay tuned to more cute outfits and hairstyles plus makeup looks !!

Six Months Natural Hair Update

I have realized a significant growth in my hair lately since I big chopped my relaxed ends in May . I've been enjoying my natural curls and my twist outs. However my hair is extremely dry and I've experienced Alittle breakage but nothing to get worried about I'm enjoying my thick curly hair and wouldn't have it any other way . I shampoo and condition once a week due to the build up I experience from the products I use , and my all time favorite product is the Cantu Shea butter that makes my hair so soft and manageable I do intend on flat ironing my hair this winter to get a proper trim and to see how long my hair actually grew . As for Co washing I honestly only like doing that in the summer for my wash and gos , and now that it is winter I'm sticking to more protective styles and twistouts which in fact for my hair needs a clean scalp and in the winter I don't feel like a Co wash would do that for me . But I'm super super excited I'm going thru this journey and am able to share it with u guys , please comment and tell me what u guys think or even to give Alittle advise until next time .

A Nite To Remember !!

I went to a friends reception this June and I had to show u guys my makeup , I think the color and the outfit just came together so nicely that I had to share it . my makeup took the longest , on my eyes I applied a black base then I blended that out and applied a shimmery dark blue on top of that black base which gave that blue a bright Pop . then I blended everything out and then applied the same colors on my lower lash line . My dress was a simple little black dress that I got from Sears on sale for $20 . And on my feet I wore some open toe pumps that I purchased from Macys. My hair I just put in a side puff and picked out my curls , so I hope u guys like the look and let me know what u think.

My Birthday Hair and Face

I enjoyed my birthday so much but I figured I would share my makeup and outfit with u guys as u can see I did a simple twist out with my hair and it turned out fabulous as for makeup my eyes were simple, neutral with a pop of black in the outer v and my face I just applied some face powder cause it was super hot for foundation. And on my lips I just applied a pink lipstick the color of my lips to bring it out just a little more . My dress was a black leopard print I love the way the dress fit , it was tight but yet comfortable . My shoes which u guys can't see were my guess pumps . I felt so special on my birthday everyone came from all over to celebrate my special day . But anyway stay stunned for new posts let me know what u think about my outfit and makeup look !!

100% Natural !!

 Well guys it's been awhile since my last post , but has you can see i'm 100% natural !!! 20 months of transitioning and its finally over i can't believe it ! I'm so relieved it is so short which i'm not use to but I love the curls so much the shortness doesn't even matter . Sorry I've been away so long but i've been busy with work which is no excuse but now i'm back and ready to show u guys my new hair and follow me thru this new natural journey !

Simple Eyeshadow Look For A Date or The Club .

 This look is great for the nite time , especially when u don't feel like putting so much makeup on. It's also very quick but yet makes a statement I applied my elf trio palette in "Night" . I applied the gold all over my lid and just used a matte black in the outer V. after I blended everything out , I lined my upped lash line with my wet and wild mega liner in black, and then I lined my lower lash line with the dark purple with the sparkles and line my waterline with a black pencil . My Easter Sunday Face and Hair Of The Day

 For the face I just used my everyday face routine using my homemade tinted moisturizer , and I filled in my eyebrows and applied some lip gloss along with some eye shadow and liner . Now for the hair I co-washed my hair the night before and then did a twist out , however this morning my hair was still a little damp but I had no choice but to deal with it and let it air dry thru out the day. It turned out nice overall . My outfit which u can hardly see is a nice flowy collar dress. with some pumps the same color as the dress. I hope you guys really like this look and please leave your comments below. :)

My Everyday Face Routine For Work

Being that I hardly wear makeup going to work cause that is where I spend most of my time , I want to be as comftable as possible. However somedays I want to look a little different, so foundation is too heavy for me to wear to work, so I made my own tinted moisturizer. Using my own liquid foundation and my favorite face cream mixed  together and its like I just have face cream on , I applied some face powder and some eyeshadow from  Jordana duos in the color (Splitting Image) and then applied some eyeliner . then I filled in my eyebrows and put on my lipstick and was ready to go! This look is very easy to do especially when your in a rush.  You don't need to just use this look for work , it can be used for school or if you just wanna go out and look simple but yet noticeable . My Mini Big Chop

So I decided to flat iron my hair again to trim it only this time I was getting tired of the color at the ends of my hair , and also it was starting to break a little at the ends . So I ended up cutting off 4 to 5 inches off my hair.
I was super surprised to see the length of my hair that is actually the shortest my hair has ever been. I'm actually really happy with this length right now my hair is really manageable and seeing how my hair is in a flat ironed state my hair will be a little shorter in its curly state but now i know i don't have too long to go for the rest of the relaxed ends to finally leave my head . I can't wait but until then stay tuned for pics and the latest on my hair journey !!

Valentines Day Look # 2

This Valentines Day look is very different from using Red and Pink Shadows but don't worry there will be looks with Pink and Red coming soon. However this look is super pretty and very different . My Bantu Knot Out Results

I just love Bantu knot outs , Ive become obsessed ! I was going to my Friends Baby Shower and I washed my hair the nite before and applied the bantu knots and then I let it dry all day . I was so impressed how defined it was and bouncy and beautiful you can't even notice that I'm transitioning . And if you do the pineapple method you can get at least three day old hair with this bantu knot out , I honestly can't wait to do it again.
